String Theory: Enganchada – decisions in motion

“String theory” treats the body like an instrument, allowing quick changes of style and expression within the same movement. This creates more contrast and musicality—from sharp and precise to soft and fluid.

In this class, we focus on enganchadas and fast direction changes. The same movements can end in different ways—sharp and dynamic, or slow and stretched. Enganchadas become a tool to build tension and contrast, and to quickly switch between qualities in response to the music.

The workshops will be conducted in couples, in English. They are open to intermediate and advanced dancers. You can purchase a single ticket, and the organizer will make every effort to ensure a proper balance of roles. The number of participants is limited to 30 people (15 couples).
