“Tango, Noche y Guitarra” — an extraordinary encounter between the world of Argentine tango and Spanish guitar virtuosity.
The stage will feature the internationally acclaimed Polish ensemble Bandonegro, one of Spain’s leading flamenco guitarists Santiago Lara, and the charismatic vocalist from Buenos Aires, Carlos Roulet. The concert program will feature the greatest tango classics – both instrumental and vocal – as well as virtuosic guitar music in flamenco rhythms.
The evening will be enriched by a spectacular Tango Show performed by outstanding dancers: Majo Martirena & Rodrigo Fonti (Uruguay/Argentina) and Agnieszka Stach & Tymoteusz Ley (Poland), whose breathtaking choreography will transform the concert into a true music-and-dance spectacle.
Bandonegro is one of the most recognizable European tango ensembles, renowned for its energetic style that blends Argentine tango, tango nuevo, and jazz. The group has performed in over 30 countries across four continents, presenting its music in, among others, the United States, Japan, Argentina, and throughout Europe. They have collaborated on albums with distinguished artists and producers from the Latin American scene, including Daniel “Pipi” Piazzolla and Rafa Sardina (a winner of more than 15 Latin Grammy Awards). Bandonegro’s music has also been featured during the finals of the Buenos Aires Tango World Cup—the world’s largest tango event.
The special guest will be Santiago Lara – one of the leading representatives of Spanish flamenco guitar, originally from Andalusia, and a globally acclaimed virtuoso and composer. He is the author of five solo albums and a recipient of prestigious awards, including the National Flamenco Art Award of Córdoba and the Giraldillo of the Seville Biennial. His performances captivate audiences with extraordinary technique, sensitivity, and the ability to create deeply expressive and emotional musical narratives.
One hour before the concert, we invite you to an open vernissage, “Tango Gallery” — a meeting of dance, music, and art inspired by tango culture, held in the elegant Atrium of the CK Zamek.
It will be an evening filled with music, dance, and art — Buenos Aires and the fiery Andalusia in the heart of Poznań.
